Material addition: The processing of plastics generally involves pre-processing the raw plastic materials into granular objects. The injection molding process involves adding these granules to the hopper of the injection molding machine, and then heating and mixing them under the action of a plunger or screw.

Injection molding process

1. Material Feeding: In plastic processing, plastic raw materials are usually pre-made into granular objects. The injection molding process involves adding these granules to the injection molding machine hopper, where they are heated and mixed under the action of a plunger or screw.

2. Plasticization: The plasticization process is essentially a process of heating, mixing, decomposing, and reassembling plastic granules into a compacted state. During this process, plastic granules transform from a powdery or granular solid into a continuous and homogeneous melt.

3. Mold Filling: When the plastic raw material is basically plasticized, the melt can be pressure-filled into a mold, where the plastic material takes on a specific shape.

4. Cooling: After a period of heating and pressurization, the basic conditions for plastic material molding are achieved. At this point, cooling can be used to solidify the material, forming a solid plastic product.

5. Demolding: After molding, the plastic product remains in the mold, so a demolding operation is needed to remove it. To ensure smooth demolding, a special release agent is usually added to the plastic material.
